Urban Lumberjacks Knows How to Clean and Trim California Oaks
We rarely do reviews, but after Urban Lumberjacks cleaned and trimmed our oak, it was time for us to comment, and give credit where credit is due. Urban Lumberjacks are the best at Oaks we've ever seen in our forty some years of tree-scaping. Simply put...It was not what you'd see if trimmers were clearing branches for powerlines, thank goodness.
After much research, reading reviews, talking to other homeowners, and investigating other jobs, we decided to give the task of cleaning up and trimming our oak to Urban Lumberjacks. This oak is a family member and has been part of our home since the day it was built and is the first thing you see when you look at our home and is always in view when looking out on the valley below, it was and still is a major focal point.
Jim's crew arrived right on time and immediately went to work. They carefully covered the delicate ferns below with plywood panels on folding easels, all trimming above was done by hand saw. Carefully selected branches and old dead limbs were removed with care and concern for the surrounding plants, the person on the team that did the climbing was experienced and knew oaks. Below men cleared debris and kept the yard as clean as possible.
By the time the tree was completed it was beautiful! A natural, well-shaped and carefully trimmed tree looking like nature had intended.
In conclusion, at the end of the day and after the crew was done with other trimming on the property, they cleaned up, helped to stack rounds I could split for firewood, swept up the saw dust, chips and small debris and left our home and property cleaner then when they started.
Urban Lumberjack's were affordable, clean, well-organized, and most importantly knew how to trim oaks. We will call them again; they have earned our continued business.

Sergio and Salvador (I missed the third man’s name) were very professional. They arrived exactly on time and got right to work. They met with my neighbor, explained what they were going to do and got her permission to temporarily remove some plants to keep them from getting damaged.
